Police are reviewing video surveillance system footage as they continue the search for three men suspected of kidnapping a 70-year-old woman from her driveway in a Chicago-area suburb.
According to Chicago NBC affiliate WMAQ, the men approached the victim with a gun, forcing her into her car. The suspects then allegedly drove her to several ATMs and withdrew cash from her bank account. The victim was released unharmed after an hour, Chicago ABC affiliate WLS reported.
Investigators have recovered clear surveillance video of the suspects using the victim's credit card at a local Wal-Mart, according to WLS, which they hope will help identify and apprehend the three suspects.
In the meantime, the victim's neighbors are taking extra precautions, despite the fact that she told police her kidnappers were courteous, WLS reported. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Will County Sheriff's Department.
