  • Break-in occurs as D.M teen naps on sofa

July 25, 2007 (Des Moines, IA) – An intruder boldly moved around a house this week while one of the occupants was sleeping on the living room couch.

Des Moines police said someone broke into the home of Darryl Browder in the 1900 block of 10th Street on Monday while Browder’s teen-age son was napping.

Listed as missing from the home were credit cards and other personal property.

Police believe the thief or thieves climbed into the house through a bathroom window. No suspects are listed in the police report.
