August 22, 2007 (Louisville, KY) – A 26-year-old Louisville man has been arrested and charged in connection with a home invasion and shooting that left 29-year-old Jamar Payne dead.
Police spokesman Phil Russell says the arrest of Andrew Cochran was the third in four homicides around the city last weekend.
Cochran was charged yesterday with murder, robbery and burglary.
A community group is offering a reward for information leading to arrests and convictions of anyone involved in this past weekend's homicides.
