• Burglary Suspect Found Mentally Unfit

• June 18, 2007 (Pomona, CA) - A Rowland Heights man arrested for the kidnapping and burglary of a Hacienda Heights woman in 2005 Friday was found not mentally competent to stand trial.

  Pomona Superior Court Commissioner Wade Olson ordered Brandon Lee Escalante, 26, to Department of Health custody at Patton State Hospital. He is due back in court Sept. 13 for a progress report hearing.
