• December 18, 2006 (Lakewood, NJ) - Police spotted a vehicle wanted in connection to a suspected burglary in Toms River about 3:45 a.m. Monday.

• December 18, 2006 (Laguna Niguel, CA) - A woman outsmarted an apparently drug-addled burglar who threatened her with a sword, authorities said. Robin Ricketts, 52, said she awoke early Thursday when she heard strange noises coming from her home office.
