How do I view the live stream?
You can check in on your home through the live stream of your camera any time from anywhere. It is accessible through the online portal or the Protect America mobile app.
Where is the footage stored?
The system has an automated archiving feature that starts recording instantly when an alarm is triggered. This footage is then stored in the cloud so that you can access the recorded evidence at any time online. There isn’t any local storage for the footage, so the perpetrator doesn’t get anywhere by destroying or stealing the camera.
What if someone breaks in at night?
Low light capability is built right into the video security camera. It will be able to capture images at night or in the dark.
How many cameras can I have?
First, perform a speed test on your internet connection. This will help us figure out how many feeds your connection can support. Then, give us a call at 1-800-951-5111 with that information, and we will be able to quickly discern the number of cameras your system can support.
Are they pet friendly?
Yes! Cameras are a great way to keep an eye on your stay-at-home pets.
Can I place the camera outside?
No. Our cameras are designed for indoor use only.
