We call these cities “Burglary Safe Zones.” We’ve also made a list of the 10 cities in California with the highest burglary rates. We call these cities “Burglary Hot Spots.”

Our lists are based on data from the recent FBI Uniform Crime Report. We only counted cities that submitted burglary data.


2016 California Burglary Safe Zones

  1. Imperial
    • Population 17,338, Burglaries 2
    • Town trivia: Imperial is known for its abundance of birds, such as dove, quail and ducks.
  2. Stallion Springs
    • Population 2,611, Burglaries 1
    • Town trivia: Stallion Springs is in the Tehachapi Mountains.
  3. Hidden Hills
