We call these cities “Burglary Safe Zones.” We’ve also made a list of the 10 cities in Colorado with the highest burglary rates. We call these cities “Burglary Hot Spots.”

Our lists are based on data from the recent FBI Uniform Crime Report. We only counted cities that submitted burglary data.


2016 Colorado Burglary Safe Zones

  1. Frederick
    • Population 11,563, Burglaries 3
    • Town trivia: Frederick’s motto is “Built on What Matters.”
  2. Eagle
    • Population 6,590, Burglaries 2
    • Town trivia: Eagle was incorporated in 1905.
  3. Wray
    • Population 2412, Burglaries 1
    • Town trivia: Wray is named after John Wray, a rancher.
  4. Firestone
    • Population 11,880, Burglaries 6
    • Town trivia: Firestone was founded in 1908.
  5. Johnstown

  6. Snowmass Village
